A secluded woodland retreat.

Surrounded by meadows and backed by think woodlands, our clients envisioned a contemporary, tranquil country retreat, a few miles away from their London home.  Bringing our client’s vision to life required a unique transformation from the ground up on a tightly managed timeline.

PROJECT SUM ~£1.3M

Revolution Projects’ project lead, Phill Grocott, assembled a specialist contractor team to create a series of split-level masonry buildings surrounding a courtyard garden.   The extensive works included major mechanical upgrades, a full electrical refit, and intricate specialist decoration, all in line with the tailored interior design. The retreat now boasts a home office, a bar and games/cinema room, an outdoor pool with treatment rooms, and expansive patio and deck spaces.

With a trained eye for detail,  our clients wanted perfection in every aspect –  workmanship, budget and delivery timelines.  Staying closely involved in the day-to-day progress, they relied on our quality lead, Zoe Ellis, to ensure the highest standards. Our procurement team provided real-time visual updates, monthly cost reports, and tailored site visits to keep them informed every step of the way.

From the kitchen’s sliding glass walls, opening for alfresco dining, to the striking Paonazzo marble island and warm, natural finishes, every element was designed to create a happy, elegant retreat. The final result is a refined woodland home that blends into its surroundings—just as our clients envisioned.
