A Thames view family home.

Our clients wanted to revitalise their family home with a fresh design merging vintage heritage features with new contemporary influences.   The clients decided to move to rented accommodation while the works were being carried out allowing Revolution Projects to implement a tightly managed timeline to complete the full restoration within a year.

PROJECT SUM ~1.6M

Originally constructed in the early 18th century, the house features brown brick with red dressings and comprises a basement and three storeys.  Internally, the house retained its original staircase, which we carefully refurbished with a polished banister.

The clients wanted to remain close to the progress of the works ensuring the project was delivered within budget.  We provided on going visual updates, monthly cost reports and well-researched advice to support their decision making.  Our project lead, Phill Grocott, identified costs effective solutions to revive both, the interior and exterior of the building,  and our senior project coordinator, Alison Wardle, efficiently managed contractors and consultants to keep the project on schedule.

The renovation included a complete electrical rewiring, mechanical enhancements, the transformation of bedrooms and bathrooms, intricate marble works, a bespoke new kitchen and a cinema room.

Following the success of this project, we have been retained to manage the refurbishment of new adjacent premises, formerly part of a brewery building, to convert an industrial warehouse and workshop into a fashion design studio and display space, along with a gym and spa.  We are now working with the clients on this new project, set to commence in February 2025.
