Our international clients chose a substantial, listed Victorian Villa as their principal UK residence, for which a major refurbishment was required. The clients, not wishing to disrupt their family activities in London, chose to stay in the property whilst the works were being carried out.
Project Sum ~£10M
Revolution Projects’ Project Lead, Phill Grocott, assembled a contractor team to complete the works and created a phased programme to allow the clients sufficient space and privacy whilst the building was being transformed. Our project manager, Alison Wardle, coordinated 72 independent specialist contractors, with Zoe Ellis providing the required health and safety support. Procurement, reporting and financial management was led by Emile Malaney in our head office.
In addition to the substantial amount of building needed, major mechanical works and a complete electrical refit was carried out, and intricate specialist decoration was completed in line with the detailed interior design and the listed building requirements.
The clients, understandably, wanted the work carried out at pace and were grateful for Revolution’s ‘action-packed’ proactive approach, which ensured all work got completed in 18 months, including the bespoke joinery and artisan decoration required.
Revolution Projects have been retained to manage the aftercare (including a preventative annual maintenance regime) and are now working with the clients on a new project.
